Every week, we donate a box of freshly grown fruits and vegetables to a local shelter for youth in transition. Help us harvest and learn about small-scale food systems!
With the help of volunteers and interns, we grow over 50 varieties of fruits and vegetables in our urban garden and harvest over 500 pounds of produce each year.
We work with interns and volunteers to plant seeds, plant baby starts, and maintain the vegetable beds. Each week these interns and volunteers pack a box filled with a variety of the garden's bounty for a local youth transitional housing facility run by Larkin Street Youth Services.
